Whatever you do, don't store yours in the PVC flips you often see in the market. These are comprised of PVC which breaks down over time and destroys the coin it was intended to preserve. If you acquire coins already in one of these, transfer it ASAP to something better. You may consider Mylar, but understand that they are brittle and might scuff the piece if isn't inserted and removed with care. Although they aren't airtight, they're reasonable alternatives for moderate value coins that will untouched for many years.
