Many of these are very popular these days. Some collectors like to proudly display their coins in archival folders, while others prefer airtight capsules, or mylar-lined 2x2's. Whatever you do, do not store yours in the soft flips you frequently find in the market. They are made from polyvinyl chloride which breaks down in time and destroys the piece it was intended to protect. Should you obtain coins already within one of these, transfer it ASAP to something better. You may consider Mylar, but recognize that they are brittle and may scuff the piece if isn't inserted and taken out with care. Although they are not airtight, they're reasonable alternatives for moderate value coins that will be "left alone" for numerous a long time.
This is for sure: regardless of wherever you choose to keep your coins, it will always a source of never-ending pride.
