Most of these are very desirable these days. Some collectors prefer to proudly showcase their coins in archival folders, while others prefer air-tight capsules, or mylar-lined 2x2's. Whatever you do, don't store yours in the soft flips you often see in the marketplace. These are made from polyvinyl chloride which decomposes over time and destroys the piece it was to protect. If you buy coins already within one of these, transfer it as quickly as possible to a better storage medium. You might consider Mylar, but recognize that they are hard and might scuff the piece if it is not inserted and removed with care. Although they aren't airtight, they're reasonable alternatives for medium value coins that will untouched for numerous a long time.
One thing is certain: regardless of where you decide to store your coins, it will forever a source of never-ending pride.
