Most of these are very desirable nowadays. Some enthusiasts like to proudly display their coins in archival folders, while others like air-tight capsules, or mylar-lined 2x2's. Whatever you do, do not store yours in the PVC flips you frequently see in the market. They are comprised of polyvinyl chloride which breaks down in time and destroys the coin it was to protect. Should you obtain coins already within one of these, transfer it ASAP to something better. You might consider Mylar, but realize that these are hard and may scratch the coin if it is not placed and taken out with care. Although they aren't airtight, they're choices for medium priced coins that will be "left alone" for many a long time.
This is certain: regardless of where you choose to keep your coins, it will always a source of permanent pride.
