Most of these are very popular anymore. Some enthusiasts prefer to proudly display their coins in archival folders, while others like airtight capsules, or mylar-lined carboard. Whatever you do, don't store yours in the PVC flips you frequently find in the marketplace. These are made from PVC which decomposes in time and destroys the coin it was to preserve. If you acquire a coin already in one of these, transfer it ASAP to something better. You may consider acetate flips, but realize that these are brittle and might scratch the piece if isn't placed and taken out with care. While they are not air-tight, they are reasonable choices for moderate priced coins that will untouched for numerous years.
One thing is for sure: regardless of where you decide to keep your coins, it will forever a source of never-ending enjoyment.
