I also have one of those indian silver dollar coin thingys, no writing, just a symbol of an indian, and a buffalo. Unfortunately, not a gold one, a silver one.

The penny is gold plated. They didn’t make gold pennies. the dollar is a silver eagle. They retail in MS69 for about $50. So to sell you may get $30 or $40 for it.

what do you mean by silver round? elaborate

  5. Wavatar SicaGR Says:

It’s just a silver round. That’s presuming it says 1 oz .999 silver on it, it would only be worth silver.

If it does not have a country & denomination even though you paid more than silver for it it is only silver. Since it is round it is called a silver round.

If its dated you have commemorative 2001 American buffalo silver dollar coin. Its a nice one to have. I was thinking about picking up the proof and BUC the other day just in mint packaging (no grade but probably a 69). The MS70 is one to have :)

Sicagr is talking about the silver rounds they sell that have the americna buffola on them. They are not the commemorative coins and not made by the mint. The silver rounds are privately made and only whole the bullion amount, but yours has a date of 2001 so more than likely you have the US mints American buffalo silver dollar and its worth a lot more then a generic silver round. :) I like the US mints’ American buffalo silver dollar. They based the gold bullion coin off it :)

OOH! I thought he was talking about the other coin, in that case the buffalo one has no date, but it sure looks old.

Depending on what you want you can get them from your local coin shop or order them online. There are a variety of holders out there.

Not to mention Albums. I recommend Dansco albums over whittman folders although the folders are cheap.

Trick question. Cheap to one is expensive to others. Most coins on Ebay can go from $5 on up. So you need to narrow down what you want.

the questions to ask are >>> IS SouthernLibertyAmer COMPENSATED IN ANY WAY BY Monarch Precious Metals? Why are there no comments disagreeing with SouthernLibertyAmer? Could it be that SouthernLibertyAmer is a genius? Is SouthernLibertyAmer a paid shill? Is SouthernLibertyAmer unable to debate logically and censors open discussion?

I buy and sell on Ebay. I have never had a problem. You will find coins on Ebay you can’t find at a dealer. You just need to see what’s on there and look at hundreds of coins, and know what you want.
